How Does Invent Your Own Superhero Work?
It's a brainstorming journal full of numbered prompts. These prompts will allow you to invent a new superhero and arch-enemy, and to figure out how these two characters will clash. You'll learn how to create plenty of pulse-pounding conflict and a satisfying ending. As an author, these are all things I outline during the pre-writing stage, before I ever start to put words down on the page. With this journal, I'm showing you how I brainstorm my own books, and I'm guiding you through the process of pre-writing your own story, too!

Anything you want! You'll be able to take all the ideas you generate here to write a short story or book, illustrate a comic, even devise a script for a movie or play that you and your friends can act out. The journal includes several blank pages in the back to get started with your project, but after all this brainstorming, you might find you need far more paper to finish...maybe even a whole spiral-bound notebook!
