The way I figure it,

there are two kinds of people in this world--people who shine like the chrome on Old Glory, and people who are more like the rusted metal in McGunn's junkyard.  My entire life, I've been surrounded by people who shine, who have a special-something.  And starting tomorrow, I'm going to find mine.

The Bright Idea

The Junction of Sunshine and Lucky is about Auggie Jones, who has a bright idea that changes everything—her house and how she feels about herself and even what her hometown thinks “art” is.

Before The Junction of Sunshine and Lucky, I wrote books for teens.  The best part of publishing those books was hearing straight from readers (usually through Facebook or Twitter).  

As the release date for The Junction of Sunshine and Lucky got closer, I had a bright idea of my own. 

I decided I needed to create a site in order to hear from the readers of The Junction of Sunshine and Lucky.  This site is just for you!
